Preserved Acacia Mimosa
About preserved acacia mimosa
What is Acacia Mimosa?
Acacia Mimosa in its fresh form is known for its delicate yellow flowers and sweet fragrance. It is a plant that blooms naturally in warm climates and is prized for its lush appearance and ability to attract bees and butterflies. However, its life as a cut flower is limited due to its delicate nature and need for constant watering to maintain its freshness and colour.
Its preserved version offers a number of advantages. When preserved, it retains its vibrant colour and original shape for an extended period of time. It is ideal for decorations and arrangements that require resistance to changing environmental conditions without the need for watering or special care, providing an attractive decorative option for spaces where keeping flowers fresh is impractical or difficult.

Durability of Acacia Mimosa
Preserved Acacia Mimosa can last between one and three years, depending on environmental conditions and the care it recieves.
Unlike fresh flowers, which wilt in a matter of days or weeks, preserved flowers retain their shape, colour and texture with minimal change, making them a long-lasting, low-maintenance decoration option for homes and commercial spaces.

This is how we ensure the quality of our Acacia Mimosa.
Production and preservation process
- Selection and preparation: We carefully select the Acacia Mimosa stems to ensure they are in optimum condition.
- Preservative treatment: The preservative and colorant (50% glycerin + water + colorants) are applied by the absorption method, immersing the lower part of the stems in the liquid. After 24 to 36 hours, when the preservative has been totally absorbed, the product can pass to the next phase.
- Drying: The product passes to the drying station with a higher temperature and a lower percentage of ambient humidity where it will remain for 24 to 48 hours.
- Inspection and packaging: Finally, we remove damaged and wilted leaves and select only the best, healthiest and most attractive stems, and carefully pack it to protect it during transportation and storage.
