Prized for its subtle beauty and ability to complement other flowers, it has become a popular choice in the floristry world. Its tiny flowers, clustered on airy stems, come mainly in shades of white and pink and add a touch of delicacy and lightness to any floral arrangement.

Associated with purity, innocence and eternity, it is a popular flower for weddings, christenings and memorial services. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of floral arrangements, from bridal bouquets to table centrepieces and home decorations. Baby’s-Breath can be used both fresh and dried, adding to its appeal and functionality in a variety of decorating styles.

Finally, it is worth highlighting its sustainable nature, as it is relatively easy to grow and requires fewer resources than other flowers. This is how we ensure the quality of our Baby’s-Breath (Gypsophila)

Production and preservation process

  1. Selection and preparation: We carefully select the Baby’s-Breath stems to ensure that they are in optimum condition.
  2. Preservative treatment: The preservative and colorant (50% glycerin + water + colorants) are applied by the absorption method, immersing the lower part of the stems in the liquid. After 24 to 36 hours, when the preservative has been totally absorbed, the product can pass to the next phase.
  3. Drying: The product passes to the drying station with a higher temperature and a lower percentage of ambient humidity where it will remain for 24 to 48 hours.
  4. Inspection and packaging: Finally, we remove damaged and wilted leaves and select only the best, healthiest and most attractive stems, and carefully pack it to protect it during transportation and storage.
