Información sobre el solidago preservado

¿Qué es el solidago?

Solidago, also known as goldenrod, is a native North American plant found in meadows and along roadsides, and is characterised by its small yellow flowers clustered in dense spikes. This bright golden colour brings light and vibrancy to floral arrangements, making it an ideal choice for autumn decorations and festive occasions.

Associated with prosperity and good luck, Solidago is a popular choice for weddings and celebrations. Its hardiness and low maintenance also make it a sustainable choice, using fewer resources than other frequently replaced flowers and providing beauty with a low environmental impact.

Preserved Solidago retains its natural beauty and is perfect for long-lasting, low-maintenance decoration. In addition to its characteristic golden colour, it is available in other colours, offering versatility and a lasting touch to any room.

Durability of Solidago

Solidago, like any natural flower, needs constant care to maintain its optimum appearance. With a lifespan that can vary from days to a few weeks, natural Solidago needs water, light and attention to keep it looking its best. This is why preserved Solidago can sometimes be a much better choice.

Through a careful preservation process, this plant retains its vibrant colour and original structure, allowing its vibrant appearance to last for months or even years. Without the need for water or light, preserved Solidago retains its charm with a minimum of care.

Usos profesionales para el solidago

¿Para qué profesionales es útil el solidago preservado?

Preserved Solidago is particularly useful for professionals who require long-lasting and low-maintenance decorative solutions, such as florists and long-term event organisers.

For florists looking to create long-lasting, low-maintenance arrangements, preserved Solidago is an excellent choice, allowing you to maintain the freshness and vibrant colour of your creations for longer without worrying about watering or exposure to light. This feature is particularly valuable for those who offer permanent decoration services in commercial or residential environments.

On the other hand, event organisers, especially those managing recurring or long-term events such as trade fairs and exhibitions, can also benefit greatly from the preserved Solidago. It’s durability reduces the need for frequent replacement of decorations, which can result in significant savings in time and resources.

What are the most common occasions for using Solidago?

Preserved Solidago is a versatile and durable option for a variety of contexts, particularly where a natural, low maintenance decorative solution is required.

  • They are also ideal for decorating homes where bright colours are needed, as long as the aesthetic and atmosphere is to convey the simplicity and serenity of Solidago.

This is how we ensure the quality of our Solidago

Production and preservation process

  1. Selection and preparation: We carefully select Solidago stems to ensure they are in optimum condition.
  2. Preservative treatment: The preservative and colorant (50% glycerin + water + colorants) are applied by the absorption method, immersing the lower part of the stems in the liquid. After 24 to 36 hours, when the preservative has been totally absorbed, the product can pass to the next phase.
  3. Drying: The product passes to the drying station with a higher temperature and a lower percentage of ambient humidity where it will remain for 24 to 48 hours.
  4. Inspection and packaging: Finally, we remove damaged and wilted leaves and select only the best, healthiest and most attractive stems, and carefully pack it to protect it during transportation and storage.

In addition, the plants are carefully packed to avoid damage during transport and we use packaging materials that protect the plants from moisture and shocks.
